An e-commerce web shop with a responsive design allowing the site to automatically fit in the user’s device. Created using Zen Cart shopping software and PayPal integration.
The original logo and website were designed in April 2008. The website had a revamp in January 2012, and both re-designed in April 2017.
Sister Act Cards is a business I started in 2010 whilst at home after my treatment for a brain tumour. I was looking for something to keep me busy, and my brain active. So I started making handmade and design-led printed greeting cards. My sales were online mainly through Etsy and I was also fortunate to rent a small space in a local retail shop.
With my previous work background being in marketing, web and graphic design I decided to set up my own web shop in 2012. It was also my first e-commerce site designed using the Zen Cart shopping cart system with PayPal integration.
This web shop is now closed, but do still sell greeting cards via Etsy and take orders for bespoke cards and invitations by request.

A responsive one-page website created for a djembe drumming group that support community projects.
The group name and logo were especially important to this project to reflect a very specific ‘Heartbeat’ method of djembe drumming. They were very happy with the logo I designed for them.
Fidz Design is proud to sponsor this local non-profit organisation based in Sutton, Surrey.
Their logo and first website were designed in June 2012. A redesign of the website was done in August 2014. The website is hosted and maintained free of charge, along with flyers for their fundraising events all designed at no cost.
The Rhythmical Empowerment Group djembe hand drumming workshops were set up by Gary Mason. Gary lived locally and approached me to make some amendments to his website and maintain it. I set up a Facebook page for the group, designed posters and made his 2010 Christmas cards.
On Gary’s tragic death in January 2011, I was very honoured to be asked by his family to design the cover for his Funeral Order of Service.
